Cheese plates can be used for so many things — dinner, dessert an appetizer, you name it. But this Cheese Board for Two is intimate enough to share with a glass of wine as a snack.

A Cheese Board for Two

Sometimes you need a snack or a pick-me-up — this one is perfect for those days. It has the perfect combination of sweet, salty, and savory. A good board always includes at least two cheeses, one meat, some fruit, nuts, and something sweet.

I see this board perfect for a rainy day or for watching a Saturday afternoon movie. Do you remember those? Growing up I can clearly remember Saturday movies or my mom watching some bowling. This would be the perfect snack for those days.

Board Ingredients

  • Aged Gouda
  • Swiss
  • Summer Sausage
  • Raspberries
  • Blackberries
  • Cashews
  • Dark Chocolate
  • Water Crackers

There are so many ways to mix this plate up. Maybe replace the berries with apples or pears. I really love oranges with cheese too. Or you could add some veggies like carrots, celery, or even cucumber slices. And instead of water crackers, try french bread or even a sourdough loaf you can break up.

Here’s how to put it together
