A Spreadable Cheese Board
I love a good spread! Whether it’s a soft cheese, hummus, or pesto of some kind, it’s a wonderful way to share your favorite creations. And there are so many different foods you can use to spread your favorite cheese. My favorite combination is brie with green apples, walnuts, and a little honey.
Because there are so many spreads on this board, you will need a lot of cracker options. My favorite is warmed-up pita bread with a little olive oil and sea salt.

Every one of my boards starts with the cheese. I like it in the middle of the tray with all of the accompaniments around it. Almost like the cheese is the star of the show and everything else bows to it.
Notes
- This is a board that needs several utensils to serve the spreads. I also like using a spoon with the pesto to make it easier to put on the bread.
- Sometimes the greenery can be useful. I used basil leaves to decorate but they can also be used to pair with the cheese.
- Remember the rule for all cheese boards, even the spreadable ones. You need to balance out the creamy with some hard cheeses. Balance out the savory with some sweetness. And never forget the crunch of nuts, bread or crackers.
